Behavioral Health & Youth Services

Plans, develops, provides and monitors a coordinated human services delivery system targeted toward, but no limited to, services pertaining to at-risk youth, substance abuse, mental health, homelessness, child care and low income families.

Juvenile Facilities

Responsible for the operation of the Morris County Juvenile Detention Center and the Youth Shelter.

Employment & Training Services

Provides services through several Federal and State funding streams, as well as operating One-Stop Career Centers for Morris, Sussex and Warren counties.

Library Services

Provides children's services, circulation services, music and media services, reference services, newspapers, magazines, and many informational databases. The library contains over 259,000 books and media items, 800 magazines and newspapers, 2 meeting rooms, 4 group study rooms and 50 computer stations with Internet access.

Library Information Systems

Provides technical support and inter-library loan services to all libraries of the Morris Automated Information Network (MAIN) and evelops and provides free technology training to staff and Morris County residents.

Office of Temporary Assistance

Administers Food Stamps, General Assistance, Medicaid, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families, Child Support and Paternity, and Social Services which includes volunteer services and homeless services.

Workforce Investment Board

Responsible for planning, policy guidance and oversight of the workforce investment system. Its goal is to combine area employment, training and supportive services and programs into a consumer-based, market-driven system that meets the neeeds of job seekers and employers.
